How about the T1R 63mm V2? I don't think he needs a super lightweight exhaust. This is a single and not too loud.

What I dont like: Weight! damn that stock is heavy.... VTEC......is much tamer now - I almost dont know when i'm getting up in the revs.
He said he doesn't like weight so the assumption is he wants to get a light if not lightest single out there

A light weight single and quiet doesn't go together, so I geuss i'm confused. why would you remove your V3 if it is lighter then the stock intake and made more power, but yet your looking for a loud exaust? I'm also confused about your V3 making more power then your stock intake, areyou sure there isn't some other factors involed? My experiance as been just the opposit. I geuss if your running the stock dirty filter I coud see that ...but your stock intake is tuned to your motor and helps keep your hot engine air out of the charge, especialy if you perform the mod list to your intake that you can resurch on the forum. Stock box will give you the most power and vtec kick over any open filter ...hot air....i mean cold air intake Take your lid off your stock box, run it a few times and then put your lid back on and run it, what i'm saying will make sense to you. So now that your using your stock intake again... you should be able to run a little louder exhaust. I'm also running a tp but am utilizing a Tanabe conept G, its a dual and sounds deap, tasty and exspensive down low for cruising and light to moderate throttle but lound and powerfull up top. tp has blown the 93 claimed db... but like you said its ok to be loud in Vtec. I couldn't emagine how loud a single would be with a tp. Most good name brand duals will still be lighter then stock.

I mean my invidia V3 exhaust system - not intake

After contemplation (and looking at the prices of those exhausts i want ) I think im gonna rock the stock exhaust for awhile....

So i think i'm going to stick with stock for now and invest in some other things

Cant really help a lot since that I am running a 3inch downpipe with a 4 inch exhaust with a 4 in 4 out magnaflow muffler. Good luck in your search for the perfect tone.
