Torque Damper

Default Torque Damper

Im considering a torque damper, is it worth buying one?? can you feel te different after putting one on??

I just installed one and yes it's worth it. you won't be shocked, it just smooths things out quite a bit. The best way to describe it is if you picture an audio signal and you remove the noise from the signal, thats what this was doing.

That being said, it's not the easiest to install due to the close proximity of all the engine parts. Do get a wratchet wrench for the final screw in the firewall and do make sure to cut the hole right in the firewall. Also DON'T screw it in unless the engine block is cold, I stripped the threads that way and had to re-tap it.

Finally, the puddymod is pretty good. It's not an exact fit, but if you get a circular file you can get it right. After that it's really nice to have....

What torque dampener do you suggest? I don't want to spend the money for a Spoon, but I also won't buy a no name Ebay version for $35.00 either.
