Torque mods?
Hmm what are some mods we can do to our car that increase low the mid range torque, to suit daily driving better? Might have been convered before, and I apologize in advance if it has.
What model have you got?
Stroker kit for increased displacement (go from 2.0L to 2.4L)
Small turbo (to cut in at 3000rpm)
Change final drive ratio gear (eg 4.57, 4.77 etc)
Sell car and buy a tank
I have no problem daily driving my stock AP1.

Oh i'm a future owner of an ap1, lol.
I don't want to go FI yet, maybe in the future. I was wondering if there are like simple mods like bolt ons that can increase torque a little. I'm not looking to beat evos from 5-60 but just to improve a little bit. Cause i mean, our 0-60 is like 5.5 but our 5-60 is 7 seconds.
Hey MattG, how much gain should I expect from the gear ratio change? And any downsides?

4.57/4.77 FD will give you more torque at the wheel; it does not change anything about the engine in the form of engine torque or horsepower.

there are some simulations ran with gears (and other mods) on an ap1. hope that helps in your decision.
