Towing your S2000
H guys, Harmsy here...last update to this thread was back in January 2019...I am hoping that in the elapsed time that there may be some more experiences out there to be reported...are there any new tales?...
...for my part, my Covid travel fix was to get a mtor home and now I want to 'dolly' tow my 2004 S2000 behind it...no racing other than maybe a bit of spirited driving when unhooked...flat bed trailers are not my gig but I really feel that with no driving pressure on the real wheels that the Torsen diff will be able to handle a few thousand miles over a few weeks...IMO, the gearbox pump will not really be required and the turning 3rd motion shaft will splash the oil around anyway...does anybody know which shaft the gearbox pump id driven off?...the input or the output shaft?...
...its going to be a fun time and even better if I can tow without too much worry!...best to all, be safe and careful!

I have towed mine a number of times over the past 4 years or so, but only on a car trailer and not a dolly. So not much help to you on that part besides bumping the thread again for you . I finally just bought my own trailer this year so I did not have to borrow or rent one anymore. Very nice thing to have and have already used it to haul the ND I codrive, my S2k to track night and have used it to haul other big stuff around I cant fit in the back of the truck .Amazing how much you "need" a trailer once you get one
