Travel and repair
Hey,
I just took a nice trip from Raleigh to Charlston, SC this past weekend with the wife. It was the first trip we've taken in the S. My wife had to attend a class on Saturday, so I got to drive around the area and check things out. I really enjoyed driving that far in the S, it's better than I thought it would be on the highway.
I drove to Wilmington via 40, then down 17 to Charleston. On the way back I went 26 to 95 to 40. In the entire trip I did not see another S! Not one! The only nice car I spotted was the AMG version of the SLK, a nice silver one that looked great.
Well today I dropped off the car at the Leith Honda for them to fix the fourth gear problem. They said it should take them two days.
I guess I can't complain too much since they have given me a rental for the duration. I'll post again when I get it back.
