Is it true?????
I've been hearing about a number of S2000's that had blown their engines... I don't hang out on this site much, so If I'm asking a question that's been answered a hundres times already, my apologies...but I know of about 5 cars that had blown their engines, and the people told me it was a defect from Honda...True? not True? what's causing it(besides an astronomically high redline)

Other than a fairly well-documented #4 cylinder problem (do a search), the only blown engines I've heard about were driver-induced when missing a gear on the downshift. Overreving on upshifting is not possible due to the rev limiter.
The only person that told me that their S2000's engine blew after 5000 Miles was from an Exotic Car rental place in Las Vegas... I automatically figured it was a bunch of hero's driving the snot out of the car before the engine blew..The other cars I've heard of, nobody gave me a reason as to why it happened, maybe they didn't want to admit they did something stupid, who knows?
