Default Trunk Lid

How high is the trunk supposed to pop open with the OEM rear spoiler? i ask this because I am not sure they installed the heavier spring when they added the spooiler.
Thanks

Mine doesn't really pop open much, and I have the spoiler with the heavy duty springs. It just appears to release the latch and the trunk pops up just barely. Can't even tell if it's been popped or not sometimes.

I can't say I'm surprised, mine doesn't pop up much and I don't have the added weight of the spoiler!

With or without a spoiler it's simply meant to unlatch itself not pop right up.

Exactly...a better test is whether or not the trunk will stay in the UP position. The springs are there to keep the lid from falling on your head,

Don't think i's supposed to - it would be dangerous if it did. What it is supposed to do is to clear the latch when released and to not fall on you if you are leaning into the boot/trunk.
