I went and visited my wonderful local dealer yesterday - with a copy of the TSB in hand. After talking with the "service advisor" who had no clue ("bring the car in and we have to see if it is still under warranty" ), one of the tech's overheard our conversation and pulled the TSB up on his computer. He went to check on the rework kit, and found out that it was not available yet.

I just spoke to a representative from AHM (1-800-999-1009) and he mentioned that the mailers are to be sent out within the next couple of weeks and that they are planning this update in stages (perhaps by location).

At any rate, I was told that I should receive the mailer for this TSB within the next few weeks. Let's hope it's sooner rather than later................

 

That's exactly what I speculated in a post above (and in the other thread). Honda probably doesn't have enough plugs on hand to do everyone at once, but instead of waiting til they do they are trying to roll this our in stages. People just need to settle down...
