Default TSB's and where to find them

I would like to arm myself with the TSB numbers before going in to the dealer for the 1/2 3/4 shift problem. I have an 01 that I bought in June and the difficulty shifting is not going away with time (8500 miles now) and I am afraid by the violence of the slap to my hand when I shift into 3rd, that I might be doing harm to it. (reported this to the dealership at the first oil change. They drove it and said it's fine and they had no problems at all) It feels as though I'm hitting some spinning gear when trying to get it into third...unless I'm below 3,000 rpm. I find that if I double clutch it's fine, or go from 1st to 3rd it's fine. Something is very wrong though with second. Is it a double cone in my car, or is that previous models? My VIN ends with 05541 if anyone know such things. I love the car and plan to keep it to the day I die, so this is the time to make it right while I have a warranty. Thanks.

at the very top of the page, the Library section - in there, you will find the TSB's that are applicable to US S2000's.

Thanks for the information. Evidently then there is no TSB for my problem. I will have to learn to shift it ever so gently into third. BALLS!

hmmmm. I'd try to get a second opinion from another dealership. also, has the fluid been changed out? I know you dont have that many miles on the car, but it might just help.

definately go for a second opinion somewhere else.
