i swtiched to kuhmo mx and although i like the handling I get the twitching when you are driving on uneven grooves in the road. The roads here in ny/nj/ct are so bad they can throw you almost into the other lane if you arent careful

You have the wrong tire in the back and will make the car feel less planted to ground. You should've checked the alignment when you mounted tires. Did you check the alignment after your accident?
I don't drive the car much and I work in NYC, I have not had the time to get an alignment done yet. I have only put about 500 miles on the tires in the 5 weeks they have been on the car.

An alignment is on the top of my long list of things to do. I would like to get the correct tires on the car before I get an alignment though.

I had a set of 712's on my rsx and also found the steering to be much more twitchy. I brought it up to the place where I bought it, and he said that this specivic tread pattern makes the car feel much more twitchy over bumps. Don't know if it's the same for s2k's, but i had the same experience with them.
