Default Stickiest tires for the rear

I currently have falken 615's on the car. Honestly Im not that impressed with them, the rears lose traction in 1st and 2nd badly ( turbo so not stock power ), and the fronts seem to plow and understeer. Now, I havent had this car aligned yet, but these tires arent even being pushed hard and I can feel the front tires understeering ( I have no PS so I can feel the road ).

I was looking into the michelin pilot ps2's....they are expensive but seem to be really grippy in wet and dry and I bet would net me a little more traction in the rear. I understand the turbo torque will spin the tires some, but am looking tomake itmore manageable. If anyone else has some tires they like besides the Falken 615, and michelin ps2 let me know!!

There's almost no limit to how sticky of tires you can buy. On the craziest end of the spectrum are tires like the Hoosier A6 (might last 100 miles if you're gentle), but you probably want something more like an UHP/EHP street tire.

I've had good success with the Dunlop Direzza star specs, but if stickyness is the end goal, something like a track tire (Toyo R888, Nitto NT01, or Kumho Vittoracer) might fit the bill too.

Just read that thread on the Dunlop Star-Spec and they sound about like what im looking for. Good grip, cheap, and apparently outperform the azenis hands down. Seems the 615's arent all i thought they were after doing some reading.

Its come down to these choices...

Dunlop star spec
Michelin ps2
kumho ecsta XS

What would you all do? 255/40/17. Thanks!

I did read that the kumho xs has the best dry grip and a very stiff sidewall so it turns in really well. The star spec seemed to be a little less grip but a LOT better in the wet...I dont really ever push the car in the wet though so it shouldnt matter too much. Look like the kumho may be the winner. Anyone else have some input? Thanks again guys.
