Top down mod FTW. Altho I like driving in the rain if I know I can keep my speed up, more fun to see everyone's reactions.

I think the Miatas have it right. The top is manual, so no uneccesarily heavy electric motors, but you can reach back from the driver's seat and yank it up yourself. I've seen a guy do this while driving, much faster than the S2000 top.

As for the Solctice/Sky, what a completely useless design. They almost would have been better off with no soft top, just including a hradtop with every purchase.

I've never tried this, but it sounds fun.

I would also like to request a link to the "Top down while moving" mod how-to.

I've driven it the rain around 70-80 mph and its fine. Its when you start slowing down that sucks. The dribble that comes over the top of the frame kind of sucks though. Gets your pants all wet.

Also possible that she had shit in the trunk, hence, no top up for her.

If the top is in the trunk, there's no room for anything else - well, maybe a small umbrella...
