Two questions...
A: The shift knob when tightened is not parellel which bugs the crap out of me, Can I just put it where I want and secure it with thread lock glue?
B:The soft top is kinda hard to see out of, Will windexing it or throughly cleaning it help?
Thanks, also if you could visitt my ins. thread that would be great!!

A. If it's the stock knob, there's a lock nut under it. Use a wrench to tighten the lock nut against the knob when the knob is aligned the way you want it. The lock nut should hold the knob without threadlock.
B. Use a product like Plexus or the Meguiar's Plastic Cleaner and Plastic Polish on the rear window. It's plastic, and these products are designed for plastic windows. Many on this board speak highly of Plexus, although I haven't used it personally. I have used the Meguiar's #10 and #17 and they do work. There are probably other good products, but Plexus and Meguiar's are the most common and they work. Meguiar's distributes through auto parts and supply stores; Plexus is from the motorcycle shops, if I remember correctly. Boat stores are another good source for top and window care products, as many have folding tops and plastic windows.
I don't know what the long term effect of the ammonia in Windex would be. Some harsh cleaning products can cause the window to become brittle and crack.
