Good point. My MR2 import was so limited. I had it taken off.
Would it be a bad thing to have that sort of limiter for driving in the real world? I think you could have achieved that max speed in any gear though (Assuming the gear to be capable of achieving it) I'm not sure it would make any real difference. Do the Japanese Govt. support the argument with any figures?

Dec 1st - 90 mph jumped median, curve, hit a tree and rolled. My fiance's foot still hurts, and I still have some moderate back and neck pain. We were wearing our seatbelts... With that said, I don't drive that fast with her in the car anymore...
