I had the Muz and now the Cusco "U" brace. In terms of functionality, I think Muz mounting points are better than Cusco. Muz keeps access to oil filter and drain. Got rid of Muz since I've scraped it up really bad and wanted the Cusco to match the rest of the bars underneath my car. +1 to Muz. In terms of stiffening chasis, Cusco 3 pc floor bars probably do more than the "U" or Muz front brace.

hey guys, does any1 have experience with these two? doe sone work better then the other?? also for those with the Cusco brace, do u guys feel it made a difference? i am in the market for one, and i like the Cusco brace, but im not sure how it performs comapred to its competition.
Buy whatever you think looks nicer because it's a purely cosmetic mod.

Better yet, wear one of these:

It costs half as much and will make your car feel twice as stiff.

^^ Is that what I think it is? Nicely done cthree.

I've debated picking up a Muz brace for a while. And truly I have no problem if it is just placebo effect. They don't cost that much money, and hell, I'm 220lbs, whats a few more on the car really going to do?

The way I see it, if it makes you happy pick one up. Don't expect much out of it and you shouldn't be too disapointed.

Yup, cold air intakes, after market headers, single exit pipes, strut braces, none of this stuff works. 10,000 s2k owners have improved perfomance, And so a few disagree, and then its all a waste of money. So were all wrong, take all the stuff off your cars and go back to stock

Apparently from what I am reading here the x-brace increases car speed in the same manner as stickers.

Do they make a My-Little-Pony X-Brace to go with the stickers I put all over my car?
LOL.... btw what is an example of an X-brace. (pics so I can get a visual, sorry new to this)
