The way I see it, it's my car, and if it pleases me to paint it pink and install flame throwers, then by gosh, I'll paint it pink and install flame throwers.
I think that's what everyone is saying, so long as there are no illusions about what you're getting and why.

Without a doubt, and we have seen a couple cracked oil pans.

Awesome. Simply awesome.

I'm going to order that to compliment the RTFM thong I ordered for my girlfriend.

Sorry to chime in a month late on this topic, but it seems like everyone here is arguing about the effect of the X-brace and whether or not it's going to make you quicker around the track.

I can say with 100% certainty it's not going to make any difference on a track. What I can also say from personal experience is that on lousy road conditions, it makes the car MUCH more stable. When you're on a smooth track, I can't imagine how any sort of brace would do a lot. When you're pushing the car over uneven, cracked pavement, that's when you're going to see an impact.

I think this argument sounds a lot like someone saying racing seats aren't useful because he's never seen it help a 1/4 mile time. Different uses...

I used a couple of 2X4s and then I got the Whitline brace. Seems to help a bit on rough roads. And I have something nice to look at when I change the oil.

Please, don't start adding logic to this thread....

You are right by the way, but some people around here will say they are 1,000% useless no matter what, those are the poeple to ignore of course.
