patinum's numbers hold up to this day, although (quite by accident) I did discover one instance where Honda's own data appears to be incorrect. (!) To understand that exception, a quick tutorial:
On the passenger door frame of every US S2000 there is a sticker that reads "INT. COLOR TYPE <x>" where "x" is a single-letter code. Starting with the 2005 model year, Honda added the color name to the sticker, so that it read "INT. COLOR TYPE <x> <color>". I've collected images of this sticker for every model year and every interior color. Here are the results:

So what was the exception I discovered? Well, an extremely early AP2 (the fourth-ever production AP2, and first in Silverstone) was recently auctioned on BaT. As the auction photos clearly show, the car has the '04 Red/Black interior, and indeed the passenger door frame sticker says "INT. COLOR TYPE V". But as it happens, Honda's database (the source of patinum's data) lists that car as having the black (Type A) interior! Based on the car's provenance and on the fact that the door-frame sticker agrees with the actual interior, it's clear that this car was in fact manufactured with the Red/Black interior, and Honda's database must be in error. (Bonus fun-fact: that makes this particular car the first-ever US S2000 with a Red/Black interior.)
The image in my post above therefore reflects one fewer MY04 Silverstone/Black cars than patinum's original data, and one additional MY04 Silverstone/Red-Black.
Thought I would share this dark mode version of patinum's original U.S. production numbers/colors chart. I also made it available in pdf which is ultra hd quality while the png image unfortunately looses a lot of quality when uploaded to s2ki. I also took the time to color code all of the non black interiors, so basically the numbers that are only black or grey represent all black interiors. Hope you guys like it.
