Good mods for the price, but if you are keeping it for ~4 years, then a supercharger probably is the way to go. While you can get the greddy turbo for under 4k, I have yet to see it be a simple plug and play affair. It may be for some, but pretty much everyone I've talked to so far who have installed it has had tuning issues and about half have boost creep depending on what they've done to their exhaust.
Personally I'm leaning towards the jackson racing rotrex supercharger now since it gives more low/mid range power/torque than the centrifugals (vortech and comptech). Plus it's a pretty easy install by design which for you would also make it a pretty easy uninstall and resell.

SC is what I would do too in a package for that money. FI setup will cost more to setup properly. FI will give you more pleasure though.
it's like a difference between dating a real hot girl or victoria secret model.
one's gonna cost more than the other, but both will give you pleasure.
or spend $5000 on cosmetics and get sponsors to pay for the turbo. that happens a lot more than you think. you'll be a shop bitch though, that's the downfall.

I'm kind of in the same boat, I'm thinking about just a nice set of wheels, suspension and an OEM lip kit. Anything upwards and over that seems silly if you're already thinking about upgrading the car totally.
