I've thought about this some more. IMHO, of all of the non-cosmetic mods I've made, I think the greatest value with the most obvious difference is the Spoon X-brace. I advise you start there.

 

Get a simple K&N filter. For about $50 bucks you'll get a proven 3-4 horspower. Now that is a great bang for your buck! Latez!
