It's not that bad. It depends on your location and the color availability. I don't think that you can do too much better than that. Maybe $1000 if you really really look. But if the car is in front of you and you have driven it and know it's history, then it's better then finding an S2000 in England with 1 less mile for $10 less.

I think that price is so-so...you can do better, but it's not horrible. There have been several '02 S2000's advertised (and I assume sold) on the Bay Area forum for about $25k, but they had less miles.
For reference, I bought my '02 with 19k miles for $27k a little over a year ago.
