As I lean more and more towards a used (06+) S, I want to share and have people review my check list of items to inspect:

Specific High Dollar Items:
*Inside Top Wear
*Over-rev (check ECU codes, inspect valve train with valve cover off)
*Diff (I'm not sure how to check or if this can be checked by a mechanic w/o opening up the diff)
*Clutch (accelerate from low speed in 6th to see if it slips, check where clutch catches in travel [high catch = worn clutch])
*Engine bay (brake fluid, radiator fluid, oil, transmission fluid)

Generic Items:
*Alignment (while traveling straight, while braking)
*Exterior condition (swirl marks, scratches, front bumper, paint in general, top, seals, front windshield, wheels/tires)
*Interior condition (rips, stains, condition of leather, stereo, A/C, cruise)

Any additional suggestions for specific or generic items that I should look at would be appreciated, in particular the S specific items.
