used Stook ?'s
VTECnology,
I think you took drogers rolling eyes the wrong way. It is simply his opinion on the use of the term "Stook" instead of the correct "S2000".
I am sure you will find lot's of help on this board. Good luck on the car switch.

As for other mods to do forthe S/C, you should talk to Wesmaster or search for his posts. He has a lot of experience with the S/C and the damage it causes when aggresively launching.
I know he upgraded his differential and axles. I think he's going to have his differential housing and axles cryo-freezed too, to make them stronger.

I know how how hard it can be to launch. maybe 8-10 hp is reasonable but I know that Mugen only got 15 out of theirs and they did alot more than a V-AFC. Also, I plan on S/Cing it before to long. what other mods would be recommended as a preventitive measure so I don't kill the thing with the extra power. I know about the diff and clutch but does this car have any other weak links to look out for?

why does turning the VTEC down a couple hundred RPM mean he was hard on the car? I had the VTEC down on my old Integra. It didn't mean I was hard on it. I have known the guy who I'm buying the car from for about 4 years and have known the S2K since the day he bought it. He has raced it, he has driven it fast but he has also taken very good care of it. I do think the VTEC is a few hundred RPM low. It seems like there is sort of a dead spot right after the VTEC switches until about 6K. Also, does 212.2 hp. sound anywhere near right? It seems a little high to me but I could be wrong. I couldn't find anything in the under the hood section about V-AFC dyno runs. I do know that he spent a lot of time and money getting it tuned correctly. Also, I know I leaned my Integra out but I wasn't really concerned about reliability on that car. Any input about reliability issues would be very much appreciated
