All the owners that run around with big brake kits because they actually think the car will stop faster. That's false. In fact, most big brake kits will make the car stop slower since the front/back ratio gets unbalanced.

Only 5% of the people that buy BBK's actually use them for what they are intended for.
50%

I have BBK and the car stopsa bit beeter but resist fadding a lot more than stock S. in our last trip for twisted mountains, 200 km trip, I was the only one who could handle the path of a exige with out having stopping problems or fade.

Is a stock s2000 able to lock up the brakes? If the answer is yes, then a BBK will not make a difference in stopping distance. Tires and weight are the major contributers to stopping distances. Not brake size or how JDM the brakes are.

You can't deny though that BBK's serve their purpose in prelonging brake fade. But even on a auto-X course, are 100% unnecessary.

Poindextor is right. Everything is relative.
I mean...anything you buy for the S can be useless in terms of S being already well built for 30k vehicle.

What about dumping your girlfriend to ride alone ..... I would think that would free up some power (depending on what kind of girls you go for).
