Ok, I realize this is an old thread, but I'm hoping someone can help me here. I bought the female fuse conectors, but can someone tell me how to attach them to the wire from the radar detector unit?

You will need to strip about 1/8 inch of insulation off the red lead from the V1 power box then crimp the female connector on the end of the wire.
