Default Help w/Valentine1 hardwire

With the site re-do, search isn't helping me find the How-to on hardwiring a Valentine 1 radar detector. I checked the How-to on the s2000.org site but still have a question.

I know exactly where the hot wire needs to go (the slot in the fuse box) but have one question that I can't figure out. What type of connector do I use to connect the hot wire on the V1 to the fuse box slot? The V1's connector is designed to be used on a splice clip. Do I need to remove it and replace it with something else?

Never mind, I figured it out. I had to clip off the connector supplied by Valentine and install a standard female connector. That slides into the accessory slot perfectly.

It's all done now and is much nicer than having cables hanging around inside your car.
