I've read a couple of post about a "Valet Mode" on the alarm. Looked all through the Owners manual and could not find anything on this. Is there a "Valet Mode" on this car? Odometer just turned over to 300 miles this morning on the way to work......still a new baby to me.....

 

there's a valet key, can't open the trunk or "glovebox".

Yes, there is a "Valet Mode" for the Honda alarm system. See page 23 of the "Security System" owners manual for operating instructions.

 

Yeah, I'll tell you about Valets..Never use them. I caught the bastard roaring around corner down the street in my car after I gave it to him. I't was a good thing I saw it because I waited at the entrance for the bastard to return and caught him out of the parking lot with the car. I almost dragged him out of the seat and through him under the wheel. Luckly nothing was damaged but I had to call the supervisor and got the usual " they would never do that" Bull. When I told him how I caught the bastard his tune changed. Needless to say, I took the car to the dealer and told them to go through it with a fine tooth comb and they didn't find anything. Now I still "park" in valet but they don't touch it and I pay them to watch the car.
