yeah well where the hell is the new info??? i'm searching trying not to be a jackass newb so all i can do is hardcore necro bumps cuz apparently there is no talk of something like this which i believe is critical to a properly setup roadrace vehicle.

was there an update in the 04+ cars that gave them vented rotors??? why is this not talked about anymore?

Take a look in the Race and Competition forum for some insight

The s2000 has very good brakes right out of the box. Do you own an S2000? What are you trying to accomplish with the car?

^^^^ Your picture is of a slotted and drilled rotor but it's not vented. Vented means you have hollow spaces between the surfaces that front and back pads press on. Like your front rotors. In general, vented rotors would not heat up as much as a slotted and drilled rotor.

I have a Cryogenic company and have a lot of customers I sell crossdrill/slotted/zinc plated and deep cryogenically thermal cycled.

They run $350 a set of four plus shipping.

With the Patented Cryogenic Process you will get better heat dissipation, help in prevention of warping and 200%-300% increase in wear resistance.

This is the only thing proven to make you rotors last longer.

PM me for details.
