Vents on hood?
Ahh crap, just noticed right now that my msg didn't come up haha.
Ok, my question was, vented hoods are good for taking the heat away fast and good looking, well in my point of view. Now i'm planning in buying a cf hood from amuse or top secret. Only prob is, when it rains, won't water fall on the motor because of the vents? Anyone has one of these and what kind of experience do they have when it rains.
Thanks
ps, it almost never rains here for now, only huricane season. But still wanna know for in case sh!t happens

well, i have the amuse hood and i pondered the same thing. from what ive heard, the water just falls straight into the engine bay. i usually cover up my car anyway if it rains but ive had the hood for about almost 3 months now and have driven in torrential rain and car still seems to run great. do a search for amuse hood, and some of the water issues come up about it.
PM quick s2k.....she fabricated some sheet metal into a block for the vent so that if it rains, it channels water away from the intake/motor....
I will be doing this soon as my car will become my daily driver once i sell my tahoe.
