Very small chips in windshield
My windsheild appears to almost glow, I can see hundreds of timy sparkles almost like paint. This happens only in diect sunlight.
I dont feel any chips in the windshield, I dont think its overspray, I've clayed
and tried steel wool
Can this be fixed?

i've noticed it on every used car I've ever had. Had it on the S2000 since day one. I do not know every trick to cleaning cars. I assume it's just the windshield being normal. It Does include sand, so I think it just reflects sometimes.
The windshield gets sand blasted from day one, and these pecks build up over time. Its worse in the S than other cars because the windshield is so upright.
You can have your windshield replaced with insurance for free if you tell them its a hazard, at the risk of higher premiums down the road. Just wait a while until you get the inevitable rock chip that will warrant a winshield change.

I have no idea if this works, but I've heard of using black shoe polish (or was it crayon?). The idea is that you rub it in the areas where there are a lot of specks, then clean off the surface. The black clings to the roughness in the speck, and dulls it so you don't get the sparkle.
Windshield pits will accumulate with time and are pretty much unavoidable. If they're real small ones, then I'd just leave them alone.
If you get a bigger rock chip, then most insurance companies will repair them with no deductible. They usually cover a certain number of chips a year.
