Default VGS Steering Wheel

I've got a 2003 S2000. I've seen other postings stating that the VGS does not fit. I was wondering if that also applies to the 2003 models? I really want a smaller wheel. I'm 6'3 and have very little knee room. If it doesn't fit can someone tell me is there a smaller wheel out there? The salesman at Honda told me I could get a Japanese wheel for it but he did not know where. If there are no smaller wheels with SRS what about lowering the seats? Seems pretty hard. I'm no mechanic. I only know how to use a screw driver to take things apart. Putting them back together I always end up with spare parts.

Thanks for any help.

An orthopedic surgeon could help you two guys fit. You know you really should do something about your long bone overgrowth.

Yeah the seat mod is sounding better. Is there a shop or person out there that does this? Like I said before I am no mechanic.

I was planning to do the seat mod myself, but I am also considering some custom upholstery, so I am going to ask the upholstery shop if they will mod the seat too.

You might want to look for an upholstery shop near you if you aren't willing to tackle it yourself.

BTW -- An orthopod won't be able to help. I do a lot of mountain biking, and my thighs are huge. Being 6'1" doesn't help.
