Vinyl removal
I'm still in the process of removing vinyl from HIN. I got most of the regular stuff off but I'm having trouble with this other kind of sticker. When I go to pick it off, it wants to crack and flake off. It's almost like hardened plastic wrap. Like the stuff that easter baskets are wrapped in. I was told to use a hair dryer to help remove it. I'm gonna give it a shot with the hair dryer. Anyone else have any other tips?
Thanx,
Chris

I used to own a sign shop and have remove more vinyl than anyone would ever want to.
Use heat, but not too much. I would not use a razor blade unless it is on glass. There is a little plastic scraper called the Lil' Chizzler. It works great and won't damage your finish when used properly. It is also very cheap.
There is another "wheel" called the Vinyl Zapper that is used with a drill that works well, again when used correctly. You don't have to buy the electric tool.
You can get this stuff at nearly any sign supply house or the companies below:
http://www.rjsign.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?
http://www.nglantz.com/
Both companies will stock these products and both are good to deal with.

Unfortunately the stickers are on my paint (above my rear wheels). So a blade or scraper would be out of the question. But thanx for the advice.
