Default How to remove sticker from wind-blocker

Just curious if there is a safe way to remove a sticker from the wind-blocker without scratching the plastic. I'd imagine that the typical razor blade and goo-gone will not work in this case.

itll be a bit more work but you can try wd40. just peel off the sticker as best you can, let it soak into the adhesive, and scrub off with a rough rag. then repeat as necessary.

I find rubbing alcohol (isopropyl, 70%) works very well in removing excess glue. You should be able to start the sticker peel with a razor and not scratch anything. I used this method on my wife's prius (had some business vinyl lettering on the sides) and it came out flawless.

Good luck.

I am not sure what plastic the wind blocker is made from but alcohol can be very bad for some plastics

If you carefully use a razor to start an edge and then peal it off, goo gone will take care of the residue. Whatever you do, don't use "goof off!" That stuff will eat plastic. Goo Gone is lipid-based, so it shouldn't harm the plastic. "Goof Off" is way too caustic for plastic. I would remove the wind screen for this process.
