Voodoo Knob, threaded or set screw?
My VooDoo (albeit extremely awesome) gets loose constantly from the harmonic vibration from my supercharger...
I'll have to try that plumber's tape...
BTW, the small round VooDoo fits my small hand so much better thanthe stock knob...

It looks like I should have ordered my Voodoo knob a long time ago, the price has gone up 40%! They are now $36 plus $5 shipping! But it still sounds worth it according to the people here.
One more question. In the discrition on the website it says the knob is "lowered" what does this mean? (did the cut the springs, heat them with a torch? Or are they the coil over type?

when you take off your stock knob, you will notice that the thread begins right at the bottom, as with the voodoo, the threads start up a bit further, and the rod where the knob screws onto, is pretty far up into the knob itself - thus making it shorter. it might *sound* minimal, but its not, its a good inch or so, and is worth trying out for 41 bucks, and if it doesn't suit you, it should be easy to part with on here. but I dont think you'll be dissapointed one bit.
I've got a spun pearl voodoo knob. It is 100% more comfortable to the hand during shifting. Plus being lowered, shifts are shorter. I'd put it up there as a MUST have just like Rick's console cover!
