Default How do I remove my shift knob on the S2K????????????

Please give me some help in removing my shift knob from my car. I tried to loosen the nut at the bottom of the shift knob but it does not come loose and I do not want to torque it and mess something up. There has got to be a certain way to do this. Please give me some help here?? Thank you

I just used a 14mm, came off real easy. You sure you're unscrewing the right direction? Which is clockwise viewed over the knob.

Counterclockwise is how the nut comes off ONCE the knob is off BUT you must screw this nut DOWN to loosen it away from the knob first.
