Installed the Voodoo magnum pearl aluminum shift knob today with 666 miles on the odometer. First Vtec today. Hair stood up on the back of my neck. WOOHOO!

wait til you get 30K+ miles... you'll really become be one with it by then....and the car will feel even better.

 

30k is too much....you feel the car best at 15k miles

Fun isn't it! I know there is no way I could've waited for 600 miles for my first Vtec.

congrats man! do you mind posting some pics of your car and the Voodoo knob? i have not yet seen a Voodoo knob with the new 04 interior

 

I hit 600 today also and the magnum pearl aluminum shift knob made it to my door in time to see the first VTEC !

The Voodoo knob is the perfect height for your hand with arm laying on the console.

Have to thank this forum (and Rick's) for recommending this mod as the most bang for the buck.

 

Don't forget to use Loctite blue. Mine (knob) needed a half turn back to line up the shift pattern.

 

No shift pattern on mine. I wanted a clean look!
