i did my redline shifting on the freeway for the first time with my new shift knob arc ti tonight... it felt better than ever!! i think im getting really good at redline shifting.. ONLY PROBLEM.. its too addictive! vtec is addictive! 9000rpm is even more addictive!

i wonder how much more addictive it may be wen i hopefully supercharge my car in the future..........

 

This is the first time that I've heard of someone becoming addicted to VTEC because of a shift knob. For me and I assume many others, it's the growl of an intake that makes VTEC so much more fun.

...But when I installed my countersunk voodoo satin aluminum knob I noticed myself driving slightly more aggressive for the 1st week or so..Heheh

 

Going from the OEM leather wrapped shift knobs to 100% metal and/or countersunk offers much more of a "race car" feel... I noticed big time, even encouraged all the then "new" '02/03 owners to swap out asap. Hey, a solid metal knob is how they released the vehicle.

 

I dun't need a fancy shift knob to get lightning fast shifts
