Default "VTECing" A definition?

Hey folks,
I have a question for you all. There are many posts that allude to individuals "kicking" VTEC, and the frequency of doing so. My question is this. Am I the only person, who when engaging VTEC accelerates ALL the way to 9000RPM? I have great difficulties in restraining myself to 7000 or 8000 rpms.
Does everyone do this, or is it just me?
A nonsensical thread perhaps, but I'm just asking out of curiosity.
Thanks in advance.

Hey Chaz, I always VTECH to 9000. I drive my car as hard as possible, I have also gone through 2 clutches and 1 tranny and I only have 14,000K. Have you ever gone to race city and raced your car. I highly recommend it

I usually vtec all the way to 9000, if I can. Sometimes, traffic will casue me to shift earlier.

I do it once in a while, on highway pushing it to 9000 means "you better have a really good radar detector and a really good lawyer"

But aside from the boring drives on highway, watching the spectrum lights up from west side into east side is amazing ..... keep your eyes on the road too. Enjoy it, its a great feeling.

Why VTEC if you're going to stop short? Isn't that like pulling out early? Trust me... she doesn't like it.

REDLINE or don't bother!
