Default Wanted: DSP video job...

Well, after more than a year of grueling hard work, long hours, and undying loyalty, my company has decided to lay off 25% of the company, with me being #36. As some of you may remember, I was in the same boat about a year and a half ago with my previous company, so it seems company loyalty just isn't what it used to be.

I'm looking for a position anywhere in the US (preferably still in the Boston area, with CA, TX, and FL being my next choices) that requires expertise in the DSP-based audio/video arena. I have quite a few years of hard-core optimized assembly experience, especially on the TI platform, including Motorola, ADI, and a few other smaller companies. Intimate knowledge of MPEG1,2,4, MP3, AAC, JPEG2000, wavelets, etc.

Any and all referrals are much appreciated.

WOW Mac, you have a lot of experience. Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

I'm in the same industry as you are, except I'm not into the hardcore DSP stuff, more into using your technology. I'll keep my eyes open for some opportunities out here is So Cal for you. PM me with your e-mail so we can stay in touch.
