Thumbs down Warning to all buying from Rick's!

Hey all. I wanted to let all you know about what is happening to me with Rick's. I ordered a single exhaust conversion piece back in September. I have never recieved it to this day. I called them and emailed them several times. They returned one of my calls and an email initially. That was on November 3rd. They said I should have been getting it any day. I never got it. And now they won't return any of my emails or calls. AND THEY TOOK THEIR PHONE NUMBER OFF THEIR WEBSITE. This is really fishy. I wanted to warn everyone and hopefully spark getting an answer. Thanks.

this is going to get ugly.
BTW, PM NZAIR (sp?) South Florida member.... he makes the heathshields and single exhaust caps and they take a little while to get them. He makes them in batches.

Trust me...There is no scam going on. Obviously there is some kind of error or mix up, but Rick and his partners are not about taking your money and runnning. Did you try to E-mail Rick directly? If you do, I would think you'll get a prompt respose. I've ordered several product's from Rick and yes, some have took some time to get,but I alwalys got them. I just ordered a Voodo knob a few weeks ago and Rick has e-mailed me three times with the status of it and tonight he e-mailed me the shipping info. Get a hold of him and I'm sure you'll get your answers.

I was in the same shoes as you and ordered a single cap back in august of this year. I just recently got the single cap cover last week. So after four months of waiting I finally received it. It took lots of emails and I had a phone call w/ rick himself. Why won't you just email nick directly? Believe me you'll get your product it'll just take awhile.

You have three e-mail from us just tonight. So check your e-mail. I also retunred your phone call and left you a VM. So we have replied.

As for the phone number, we pulled it. We want all communications to be via e-mail. All three of us travel, and the voice mail is just too hard to deal with. We just can't keep up with it while we are on the road. We used to not have a phone number listed. I can't return phone calls at 12pm when I get done with my real job. So it is gone, plain and simple.

Now to the point, Nick lives in FL, as we all know, FL has some weather problems. This slowed things down on one side, and sped them up on other. Nick is a Construction Contractor so his real job as you might think is over whelming. Combine those facts with the fact that the single exhaust caps needed to be made during the same time. and the Cam mounts, and heatshields.

We have been shipping them in the order they were order, and belive it or not, there are orders older then yours. Much older.

Now this is not the way we ever planned to do business, but now that we are in this boat, we have to bail it out.

You missed the fact that all ZTech products have been pulled from our web site as well. Now you know why.


You have two choices:

Have us issue you a full refund
You continue to wait.

You may want to check your spam or junk mail settings. If you're not recieving a response via email, it could be that their responses are going straight to a junk mail or spam folder.

Same here!! My first order came without side indicators even if I was charged for them, the second order (yellow box) was ordered back in September and I still don't have it. No tracking #, nothing. E-mails are not being answered (ok, maybe 5%) and the single exhaust conversion, was ordered also back in 1st week of September but never came. This is thing twice and watch out when ordering!

Well, I have nothing but good things to say about Rick and Nick.

Always great communications, great products!

Rick currently has $600 of mine for several weeks with another $600 to be charged for the radio door gauges and I'm not worried.

True, things do take some time to get finished and shipped, but as far as I'm concerned they're worth waiting for.

They've been doing business on this site for years, they're not about to ruin it.

Be patient and have some trust.
