Warranty questions??

Default Warranty questions??

Hey i know this fourm has been asked bout 1 thousand times but i wasnt here to read them. So wat voids the warranty and what dosent. I just installed a aem cai intake and i was wondering if that voids it. How would i do things to my car to make the warranty active. Do i just have honda install the parts or what would somone please reply with some info.

There is no easy answer to your question. Honda or any manufacture will void a warranty claim if the cause of a repair is directly related to the aftermarket modification.

Yes a aem cai voids your warr. on you motor, I know because one of my salesmen sucked in some water and blew his up, Pics later, anyway, if you blw up your motor or trans, just put the stock back on before you try to have it warrantied. It does not matter who installs it so do it your self for the fun of it. Now say you do springs on your car, this only voids the warr on your shocks, not your engine etc....

I think this site has proved over and over that if you go to a dealership and try to play stupid ie "I pulled up to the light and my car stalled" and try to get warranty coverage your chances of getting denied is pretty high. Honesty is your best policy in trying to get warranty or goodwill repairs
