Personally, I do it together with the hardtop ... Then finish it off with at least 8 - 10 layers of Meguiars wax before it's another 4 weeks before I decide to give it a big wash again. In between now and then, I use Dri-Wash to keep the car clean and spotless like new with showroom shine when I feel like it.
