I've had my S2000 for one month now. Since I don't see many other S2000s I just wave madly at every fricken car I see!!! Wait, except Z4s...they get the finger! Oh, and Miatas, I just totaly ignore!!!

1/2 isn't bad for S owners

I only get a wave back from maybe 1/5 M3 owners, and that 1 is never a E46 owners but usually a fellow M3 sedan owner.

 

at least here in Ann Arbor/Novi area, the younger S2000 crew always wave, but the foggies never do.

 

I have to say I am quite inspired. Here is my plan:

We will start a database accessible from the web and we can use it to track all of the characteristics of a "Non-waver" (AP1, berlina black, corporate robot, white trash redneck etc..). We can run periodic queries on who the offenders are, round em up and send them to S2000 wave concentration camps where they have to stand for hours on end watchin videos of traffic and every time they see an S2000 on the screen they have to wave otherwise that get shocked.

I wave... but, mostly to people with the top down. With the top up, you can't see the frigging people anyway.

 

I hear there is an underground faction starting and the order of the day is for AP3ers to not wave to anyone.

Personally, I like to lift my ass off the seat, pass a little gas, and then nod as my head comes up above the windshield.
