Welding on the subframes???
I hope I can do so either...
however the car is still in seller's garage.
I have only paid deposite on it. The car hasn't belong to me yet.
I am so hurry since I don't want to be screwed up. I have to get my deposite back if the car was really crashed~~~

OK, just HOW did you come to the conclusion that the subframe was welded? If the inspection was done by a professional mechanic, then just ask for his/her opinion on whether the welds were the result of a repair or whether they are original from the factory.
If you did the inspection of the car yourself and you are not a mechanic (and it sounds like you are not, but I don't know how you managed to inspect the underside of the car so thoroughly without the help of a mechanic to hoist the car up for you), then the simple thing to do is to ask the current owner whether the car was ever involved in any accidents and then repaired.
If the current owner will not answer the question or you don't trust the seller, then ask for another inspection and note the VIN# on the body panels near the welds. All the original panels have the VIN# on them and they should all match the car's VIN#.

The inspection was done by mechanic. However the mechanic had to be nenturalized that not telling any positive or negative comment...... The only thing he can tell was the fact what he saw under the car....
Whatever I ask him if the car was crashed or had subframes failed, he said he couldn't answer such a question. He only told me that there was welding works on the front subframe and had to caution about that.
While the seller (used dealer) said the welding was actually the factory welding since S2000 had special frame strucuture.
So.....if the front subframe failed, and fixed by welding, will the car structure affected?

what you aren't getting here is depending on where the welding is it can be fine.
I'm assuming you're buying used, If your car had been tracked alot or autocrossed alot it is common practice to weld the upper front a-arm brakets as the tack welds don't hold up as well to the forces of hard braking. If its welded there, then you have nothing to worry about. its actually an improvement.

But be that as it may, your primary concern should be whether the car was involved in an accident and then repaired. The welding in the subframe is only one indicator, if there was damage repaired, there should be other indicators that the mechanic should be able to pick up. If the welding was part of a repair job, then there should be other signs of damage that the mechanic can see -- marks on the metal that it's been bent, repainting, grind marks, and so on. If there are no other signs of repair (and I am assuming you've already gone through the panel VIN# check), then I'd agree with krazik that the welds were probably applied to strengthen the front-end.
