you seriously need to do some research before you post about something you obviously have not looked into deep enough.

Never said I was wise but your comment says ...

"i've seen a couple of shops put 500 hp to the wheels on the stock engine internals. you will NEVER see that on an S2000. but then again this car was never designed to make as much power as the evo was..."

First the S2000 is capable of doing 500whp on stock internals.
Second how can you tell how much power the evo was made to produce did a mitsu engineer tell you this?
Third how can you tell how much power the s2k was made to produce did a honda engineer tell you this?

Fourth if you can't stand when people tell YOU that you're wrong without anything to back it up you should think about backing up your own comments so you wont have to read about it.

peace

i'll believe it when i see it.

i know what both cars have been able to do in the hands of capable aftermarket tuners.

backing up my own comments? um, go buy the back issue of modified magazine with the project evo in it. they make 500awhp on the stock engine internals. show me an s2000 that has put down 500whp on the stock 11:1 compression engine. go to turbotrix website and their 9 second evo is on the front page. they did this within a year of the evo being released to the public. it's been over 4 since the s2000 came out and i haven't seen one in the 9's yet, much less a streetable 9 second s2k. so how about YOU back up YOUR comments and show me an S2000 that has made 500rwhp on the stock internals.

honestly, a 10 second evo and an s2k would be two great cars to have. one for the corners, and one for embarrassing just about anything on street tires.

It was bad enough when we were fighting with the Evo owners, but now we are fighting with ourselves. This topic has now officially been declared retarted! Really this is a topic of preferance. If one wants an S2 over an Evo so be it. When did this become a topic of which engine can produce more hp then the other?

maybe we just dont want to release it to the public just yet.

and a year since the evo came out? u do know the evo is ancient news in japan right, and where are the race parts made again?

9s maybe
10s def
11s already done

and that is one year in the states...just to make sure u get that.

ps am just busting your chops an evo is a great 1/4 mi car but its like supras and sti every single owner does the same thing, get similar hp that is not fun. Being creative is. Peace out.

not fighting just i was bored and choose his comments to correct.... although the whole thread has made me laugh, the s2k is good as u might see i had 5 i love it, the evo is too, and its not dependent on what you want to do with it, but how you want to do it. Any car can be modified to do what you want within reason. There are 350z;s doing 10s and i think 9s, its not all about awd.

I would like to have an evo instead of my accord as daily driver and my s as a weekend car.
