Default what color is the rest of the dash on s2k's

common sense whould tell me thats its amber to match everything else but iv never seen a picture of the whole dash at night so i had to ask, im lookin to pick up a s2k very soon and i saw the post about the guy who can change the color of the cluster to white and blue or what ever color you want, and i was wondering if the rest of the light up parts could be changed also to match the cluster

Take a look at DJ Qube's threads on his Blue Dash Project. He has lots of night pictures there -- except where you see white or blue, replace with amber .

Carbon,

DJ's kit looks really sweet, especially with the blue filter. If you'd like a bit more functionality and the option to change colors at your heart's content, you may want to check out my instrument cluster ugrade project. It's on a several week hold while I get another product out the door, but I expect to start work on it again the end of October. It's still several months out, so if you want something now I suggest DJ's setup, but if you're interested in a lot of the extra functionality my project includes I would post there to show your future interest...

They're amber on the 00-01's and more of a red on '02 +... at least in Canada they are.

I'll have to go down and check it out, but I think it's probably just the lighting or angle of the picture. Now I'm curious.

Just a guess, but they're muted... which means maybe that cuts power to the lighting for them too?
