Meanwhile, in New Zealand, the covers are coming off and play is about to commence...

Soldered the injector plugs on. I've been using the SoS plug and play ones for years, but after watching them trash talk them on LHT videos I finally had to do it.

Talking Steering wheel wrap

Recruited my talented wife to stitch this Mewant (Amazon) leather wrap over my existing steering wheel. Also, added a Rick’s S badge!

Before

After (it’s black, just looks lighter bc of sunlight)

Just swapped to the D-shape steering wheel. Sides are perforated leather and top/bottom is alcantara. It is thicker than OEM side so fits my grip perfectly. My wife neither talented nor can stitch like the guy above though...

New vs oem

Installed

Thicker grip

Took it into the local dealership for a roadworthy and service, I'm sitting in their customer lounge at the moent. Had an almost-fight with the service manager about the rear axle nut issue. Tried in vain to convince him @Billman250 knows what he's talking about but the guy was even older than me so I got no traction with him.

I think it's time for me to accept that Honda is no longer interested and the S2000 is now owned by the enthusiast community. I know, I'm a slow learner. If a dealership service record didn't mean anything to future buyers I don't think I'd come back here again. I made sure they at least used the correct oil filter.
