I took up the opportunity to fix my faded headlamps.

I masked them out, and sanded back with varying grades - 240/360/600/800/1000/2000.

Finally finished with a 2K UV Lacquer. I had a bit of contamination, but overall fantastic result for 45 minutes work + drying.

Some of the pictures are the wrong way up - despite rotating them on my computer, but you'll get the idea.

My fault for picturing on iphone I guess...

I'd appreciate if you could ignore the rust bubbles on my bonnet's front edge too. Thanks!

Installed a pair of AP1 seats in MY06, what a PITA but it was worth it.

Being a RHD version, I would think it's to protect your knee from the door panel. We have the soft center console and added width to help with that. It would most likely be on the RH door only.

Then again, I could be completely wrong.

Clayed and waxed the hood. I don't generally have time to do the whole car at once, so I'm doing it in sections - this was the first section. A lot of dirt came out of the paint, and it definitely looks 80% better now. Still has some damage from sun, sand, etc.

Yepyep, that's in the plans for next summer maybe; I've just got too much stuff to do and too many tools to buy.

Went for a late night drive Sunday. Went up Hwy 108 to stargaze, not many stars out with a full Moon but the drive was so much fun. We like our night drives, no people, no cars, no trucks just deer and other animals to watch out for. Got home at 4:45 am

That's the only way to do it; I hit the back roads in northern NJ. We have black bears in addition to the deer.
