What did you do to your S2000 today?
No previous owner bought it separately, so not sure how old it is, the S is 2005 , my approach to paint correction is to get it good enough and not over correct at the expense of clear coat thickness, so I correct maybe 70% overall and 100% of problem area, but if I looks super close with flashlight or in sunlight , I can still see swirls but from 2-3 ft it looks great
Busy day!
1. Re-torqued my axle nuts to TSB specs an re- staked. This wasn't too hard.
2. Changed out my differential fluid.Used mobil one. I was able to torque the drain plug to 33 but I had to just guess on the fill plug (with my $14 23mm wrench lol).
Fluid looked pretty good but there was a bit of sludge on the drain plug magnet.

New owner here....a bone-stock silver AP1 with about 50k (what appear to be fairly gentle) miles.
Thanks to all the great info on this site I just completed a front-to-back maintenance, including:
- Coolant (Honda T2)
- Plugs (NGK)
- Engine oil (Syntec)
- Tranny oil(Redline MTF)
- Diff oil (Redline 75-90 GL5)
- Brake fluid (ATE)
- Air and cabin filter
- Pioneer head and Polk speaker install, with Modifry DCI
- New windshield
- Brake rotors and pads
- Rear axle nut re-torque
- Trunk vent re-seal
This is an amazing car to drive, loving every moment.
Except maybe the clutch rattle which is a bit annoying.....
Planning a nice long trip with my gal through the twisties of southern BC next week....woohoo!

After a couple of months of illness, I went down to the shed to get the S out. As I feared the starter barely turned the engine over. No power in that shed, & the S parked nose in, how to charge the battery?
With the cuttings guide taken off, my John Deer ride on mower, [Lawn Tractor] would just squeeze down the side of the S. My son visiting at the time laughed at me, saying it would never work. I admit I had more hope than confidence. Five minutes with the jumper leads connected, & the S fired up instantly. I have never owned another car that would have done it so easily.
