Put on the set of AP2v1's I picked up last week to replace my ap1s for street wheels. I really like the oem wheel designs and they fit the car's aesthetic. Eventually I'll find another set of rear wheels to bore out and make a square setup. Just wish they were lighter.

Tried and failed to install the Bayson R ap1 lip I painted. Read that the included hardware is pretty bad so I tried using 3m tape all over to stick it on. That failed miserably and in the process the weatherstripping started to fall off. Gotta try again with the hardware and power tools.

Pulled her battery from the tender and hooked her up. :-) Waking her up for the weekend - finally.

Rubbed some leather conditioner on my seats and they are smooth and supple. Looks new.

I embellished it with a Honda logo, which is nothing more than a logo graphic cut out of 1/8" foamboard and glued to the wood, then the carpet was glued around it. It's attached to the trunk lid with Velcro. A bit of unexpected luck that the carpet color matches the trunk liner perfectly. I'm rather proud of how it came out :-)

Doing it again, I would have extended it a bit further wide (it's about 1/2" shy on both sides), but this was what I had available and I didn't want to go get another piece when this was close enough. I documented the process if anyone is interested in a DIY...

It was pretty simple... maybe 2 hours of work.

I could not resist. Temps in the high 50s and roads not perfect but bone dry and pretty darn clean. Started right up first try after 6 months of sleeping. This car is just pure joy. I took a gorgeous 3 hour drive on paved back roads and then gave it a quick wash.

Took her out as well today... Beautiful 68 degree day, and we had some strong rains over the last few weeks to wash away the salt.

This car is such a treat. I forgot how much fun it is, with her sleeping for the last 6 months.
