what to do
i don't post here much but i went to a edgewater meet and met some great enthusiast.. sup peoples
so heres the situation after immediately noticing my 2nd gear would automatically pop out of gear when downshifting to stretch the legs i sent it right in to honda where i purchased the vehicle from they told me give it a while and the mechanic told me he really didn't want to get all in it because it was a new car and he didn't want to mess up the dynamics.. so i give it another 4000 miles and still does the same thing i send it back and they order the 2nd gear synchro i it sits there for about two weeks then i go to work to leave the car from wensday to monday i come back they didnt even work on my car because they needed to order the part.
okay they told me the parts been recieved and its been waiting ?? so they reorder the part i leave the vehicle again from wensday to monday due to work and come backn home and guess what the service writter tells me the part didnt get in but the technician said honestly they didnt even start to work on the car. keep in mind they told me the part came in but when i talk to the service writter she said it didnt ?? why the heck would they tell me the parts in??okay so finally i get a comfirmation on the part being there i decide to leave my car a week just to make sure they take their time and make sure its corrected. leave the car wensday to pick it up next thursday and my car not ready to go the tech tells me he was swampped with work and had no help and he was pissed like i was rushing him so i come back on friday about 6pm and i know for a fact they rushed the car because now i have a chattering noise coming from the shift lever/selector i also noticed during a high speed dump from 3rd to 4th i heard a big claning during the shift ... so now what do i do. i have time before sema to take the car to the stealership and leave it the a week should i take it to another dealership should i call honda and tell them the second time around of the mishap they created for my vehicle... some help would be highly appreciated thanks
oh its a 2005 model bought it new and has about 7600 miles

I would definitely consider going to another dealership.
I would also get on that dealers website and find all the e-mail addresses for anyone in management and send them a polite but firm e-mail about your experiance. Let them see how unprofessional you were treated and foward a copy to Honda themselves (assuming they have an e-mail address). I'd also make it known to them that you are fowarding a copy to Honda and/or will be calling them. People tend to take you a lot more serious when they see your not a pushover and you might go above there head. I can't speak about Honda personally though as I haven't had the pleasure yet of being an owner (or hopefully not lack there-of, lol).
Again I can't speak for Honda personally, but when I had a problem with a Lexus dealer I did all of the above and the dealer sent me an apology and Lexus themselves called me and offered to pay to make it right (in my case it was splitting the cost of a new set of tires with me as I swore the dealer was at fault for destroying mine . . . but thats another story). Hopefully Honda does the same for you.
Hope it works bro, God bless . . .
